Mood/Health
Feeling good today. Excited to try to snatch heavy, especially after working technique for the last week or so.
Programming
A) Snatch - 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1
or
Snatch ladder for time and completion
B) 5 Rds for time:
2 Rope Climbs 14'
4 DL at 365#
8 Bar facing burpees
Results/Notes
A) Did a ladder of lower weights with an attempt to work to max
75/85/95/115/135/145/155/165/175/185/205/225
I completed 205 at 2:05 and ALMOST stuck 225. Staying more vertical is helping my pull stay close to the body. Then having my shoulders retracted at the start has made the pull a touch higher and the flip/lockout seems stronger
B) 9:43 - as RX. The rope climbs were so much better/faster than expected. The DL were still heavy and the whole thing was surprisingly breathy.
I know tomorrow I will be short on time, so I took 20 min to recover and did the 2nd part of tomorrow.
DAY 33 B) - 9:57 - The cleans felt pretty heavy but not too terrible. I need to be able to cycle them faster. I was around 1:15 onto the rings. Sets on MU were 4/4/4 - 3/3/3 - 3/1/1/1 with the singles being quick and not spending more than 5 sec on the ground. The MU are showing significant progress in a short amount of time.
